A Hyattsville man was killed Wednesday after he lost control of his car on a wet roadway and crashed into three parked vehicles, police said.

Eswin Lima, 21, was traveling west on East West Highway near 10th Avenue in the Hyattsville area when he lost control of his 2007 Honda Civic, police said. The car slid into three other vehicles that were parked and unoccupied, causing significant damage to the Civic's door and trapping Lima inside.

Emergency responders extricated Lima from the car and took him to a nearby hospital, where he died a short time later. Police do not believe alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash, which occurred just before 10 a.m.

A witness said a lady was crossing the street (not in a pedestrian crossing) and in the attempted to save her life Eswin Lima lost his, leaving many people that loved him including his three year old son.

Waiting at the Door

I can’t explain so deep inside
The very fabric of my soul
Only a heart that grieves such loss
Can ever truly understand

It’s like you’re waiting at the door
Until a loved one comes back home
You feel a longing in your heart
When they appear the longing stops

But in a loss that never ends
You’re always standing at that door
You feel the longing in the breeze
So incomplete and never filled

I cannot find the words to say
Just what it’s like to want forever
Never seeing them again
Just always waiting at the door

Pure of heart

Not how he die, but how did he live.
Not what did he gain, but what he gave
These are the units to measure the worth
Of a man such as Eswin, I have never met someone as pure of heart he. As Good a father, as good a husband, and as good a friend.
There where never to many people so pure and true as he was, and now there it one less.

*♥~†~ONLY THE BEST~†♥*
A heart of gold stopped beating two shining eyes at rest, god broke our hearts to prove he only takes the best, god knows you had to leave us, but you did not go a lone for part of us went with you the day he took you home to some you are forgotten to others just a part of the past but to us who have loved and lost you the memory will always last.

ltttle did we know....

little did we know that morning God was going to call your name
in life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same .
it broke our hearts to lose you ,you did not go alone
for part of us went with you , the day God called you home.
you left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide,
and though we can not see you , you are always at our side.
